Hello Gurus,

i am applying my N-400 and was out of country due to family reason from 10/25/2003 - 04/08/2004 (167 days) and 04/18/2004 - 10/08/2004 (173 days). My question is in part-6 where they ask about residence and employment. what should i write in Part-6 A where u lived. should i give my address in india or should i give my forwarding address here in USA. i am really in need of help.

Mention where you lived not where you got your mail. In other words ALL trips abroad must be correctly documented

If you lived over 6 months in India you may have broken your continious residence. Do you have adequate documentation to show that you maintained ties with the US ? Please refer guide to Natz
 
i have never lived over 180 days out of US. i made a short trip of 10 days in between the stays. i have already lived in US for more than 30 months before i left USA. though i did not maintain a residence here, i have not moved my bank accounts, IRA accounts, 401k accounts. i joined the same employer with whom i used to work before i stayed in india and in the same city. i have my parents health records and also i filed taxes as a resident. may be this is sufficient. if any one is out there who had same situation like mine and laready recieved their citizenship, i will appreciate their input
