When was your case xferred to Newark?? According to your earlier posting, it was transferred to Pittsburgh ?? Also, your ND seems to have changed??!!

Case Transferred to INS, Pittsburg, PA ?

hi,

I received a notice today from VSC that says - ...in order to speed process this case has been
transferred to the following INS office : ...... Pittsburgh, PA.

I am not sure if this actually will help speed up the process, but I am hoping it will.
Has anyone received a similar message ? Please post your details / comments.

It is highly possible he is making fun of us.

Don\'t believe his post till anyone checked his EAC number:
EAC-00-059-51150

He (Ganeshan) seems has two PD date:
one is 07/08/97 , the other is PD 12/97, none is current for EB3.

He also has two FP date: FP 8/24/00 and FP 9/20/00
   two interview places: Newark and Pittsburg

good catch Toto. Is INS approving I485s when PD are not current?... THAT"S IMPOSSIBLE (at least they can\'t screw up that much..)

I think you friends are right. This person is just making fun out of us. Initially I thought it is possible there could be two different users registered with the same name. But I was wrong.The system doesn\'t allow us to register two users with the same name. Please, don\'t post info. in this board just for the sake of posting. A lot of people like me use this board info to do some basic calcultaions to find out how long will it take for each individual. Good luck to you.

As sick as it may sound, I actually checked his EAC number given in a previous post and it did say :your application was transfered to Pittsburgh INS office bla bla bla. (Mind you Pittsburgh, not Newark). So he may be telling the truth.

For God\'s sake PLEEEEEEEEEEEESE do not post misleading and false information on this forum. GC is a major problem for many people. Don\'t play with their emotions.

Personally , I don\'t believe this posting. How, on the earth , this guy can get approval when hundreds of applications from Aug/Sept are still pending.

   Very Pleasant !!!!!!!
   Called for Interview on 1/19/01 scheduled at 8.40a.
   At New ark there are two entrances : visitors and appointments
    - take the later and it is much less crowded !

   I was there with wife and daughter at 8.30a. Was called at 9.00 am.
   Few straight forward questions like my employer address, job function,
   my places of stay since we came here and in 10 minutes... done !!

   The interviewer was a young women who was nice through out and
   she stamped all Passports, explained we need nothing more and the
   card will arrive in 3-6 months.

   It is safe to have all documents ready : passports, birth certificates,
   employment letter, tax returns, AD if you have, etc... technically
   you need everything that was ever submitted throughout the process.
