Inspite of my detailed email message about Anthrax etc.

I think our dates are pretty close and i am expecting Feb interview. Why March for you? My P3 was mailed on Nov 20 and a week later may be entered into the system.What abt yours?

Anyway, I sent an email yesterday asking if they got my original petition and also for a possible interview date. They haven\'t replied me back. Hopefully I will hear from them in \'02.

I think though Chennai is good at email, maybe it should not
be taken for granted. All the while i had stuck to emails.
I will start pursuing more often on the phone now.
It is so frustrating!! the reason i opted for CP is i am not
sure of my job, now it seems i have to endure more sleepless nights.

Since i have not talked to anyone at Chennai, i just
 want to wait until Jan 1 PM, talk and then decide.
I talked to NVC last week, and they said my case was sent to
Chennai on 11/6 and they cannot track it as it goes by Diplomatic
Mail. At that time i was not aware of NVC first sending by
FEDEX to DC and then from there by Diplomatic Pouch.

It depends on who u speak i guess. SOme of the CSRs are
friendly and cooperative others are terse and rude.
I think everyone has to keep trying.
Try to get all the details like FEDEX tracking number,
and wether the system date and actual mail date are same.

I got the reply from them - Pkt3 -received. I will try calling them tonight.
Can you tell me if you have applied for PCC yet? I haven\'t and mine needs to be applied @ NY.

Also did u check out their web site??? Ain\'t it crazy ?

Yes i have applied for PCC at CGNY 2 weeks back.

Lets\' wait

Guys, we are all getting tensed up here a lot. How about we concentrate more on trying to get our PCC in time? Meanwhile try to line up all the documents. We hardly need to wait for another 10 more days. The days are just flying off.

Its of no use getting frustrated and frustrated and frustrated.......

What I think now we can do is:

1) Get your PCC.
2) Line up all your documents. (believe me we wont\' be having time later)
3) Be optimistic about the dates.
4) Complete your tax filing for the year 2001.
5) Complete planning the budget for the CP and plan your trip.
6) Collect all the necessary telephones including hotels and medicals.
7) Think of all the things you need to do before leaving to India.
8) Start enquiring about the airline tickets.
9) Finally have faith in God.

This is just a suggestion to calm our heated brains.
