Incorrect Place of Birth in my passport what to do?

Hello,

I got my passport and it has incorrect Place of Birth,
It says "California , USA" when it should have been my home country (INDIA)

Did anybody have a similar issue? How was the experience?
What documents should I send?

I see that I have to send it for correction using DS5504, but
the instruction says send proof of the data for correction..
What should i send for place of Birth correction? My birth cirtificate from India?
 
Haha, now you can be president! Maybe you can try to take it to a passport agency and have it corrected immediately?
