Incorrect Given Name on submitted i-485 Application

I just submitted I-485 application form for my wife and found out that we made a mistake. We put in her full name instead of her first name in given name field. Other forms such as G-325A and support documents have correct first name. We just sent in the form 2 days ago and USCIS has not cashed the check yet. I have following questions:

1. Will USCIS issue RFE on that or just send the receipt with incorrect name?

2. If they do not issue RFE and send us the receipt with incorrect name, how can I correct the name on pending I-485 application?

3. Should I Cancel the check? But I am not sure whether USCIS will return the whole application or ask us to send another check. I like to avoid this option as we will lose a few weeks of processing time.

Please advice!

LucyMo, Thanks for your response! Will it be late to correct at the time of the interview? Is there a possbility that they will conduct name check with the wrong name although names on G-325 and other forms are correct? I do not want them to reconduct the name check if we tell them during the interview. We called USCIS customer help line twice about it and got two different answers. The first office told us to call them back with once we get the receipt and said that they can correct it on the phone. The second officer told us to resubmit I-485 with correct givenname right away (which does not make sense since we do not have receipt at this point.). Please advice..
