I sent the N-400 form without pictures and a bunch of stuff that I didnt know that I had to send along with the fee check.

Question:

What will happen to the check I sent in...
Will I get some sort of notification that the application was incomplete...

Most likely the check will be cashed and you will get a notice saying "missing evidence" . You will get to know in a few days. Take the missing stuff with you for the interview. I know of one person who did not send the copy of gc and had no problems.

Well to be more exact its been a month since I sent in the application and I havent gotten any sort of response.

I did not send in the green card copy, pictures, or marriage certificate. In other words I just sent in the application by itself.

Would this make a difference?

Should I put a stop payment on the check and send out the new application with new check and all the required documentation?

Did you not miss the instructions before filing? Have you checked with your bank to determine if the check has been cashed yet? No need to put a stop payment on it since you can present the missing evidence at the interview.

I read the instructions that come with the N400 form in the INS website. There is nowhere on the instructions that you need to send that stuff in. I double checked cause its pretty big what I missed. I found something else in the INS website that has other instructions for the pictures and what not.

I checked with the bank and they have not cashed the check. I know that the service center recieved the application cause I have return reciept on what I sent.

I think I am just better off calling the help line (good luck to me) and finding out what to do next...
