Hi everybody,

I have made about 7 overseas trips totalling 95 days. I can show proof for 5 out of these 7 trips with my current passport. The other two I can not.

A couple of years ago I made two trips out of the country, which did not last more than 4 weeks combined. Around that time my passport was lost/stolen, along with my green card - I made a police report for both. I put these 2 trips on the N-400 form and I was advised to request a FOIA from US Customs & Border Protection, which I did. I did provide them detail information about my trips, the months and dates...the whole enchilada.

Today and after after 5 months waiting I received the FOIA and to my surprised the document that I received does not contain the mentioned trips but my most recent ones..:confused::eek::confused::eek::confused:

My interview is in April 22, if I send another FOIA I won't get a response until another 5 months. What I am planning on bringing is a notarized affidavit relating to the best of my knowledge the 2 trips that I took. I know the dates that I travel by memory and I have found some credit card receipts that may help, but I really don't know what else to do.

I least I can show the interviewing officer that I did what I could.:eek:

What do you guys think?

If the missing travel dates in no way effect your continuous residency, why are you making a mountain out of a mole hill?

You're taking this to another level. Just tell the IO there were 2 trips for a few days back a few years ago but you don't remember exact dates.

Totally unnecessary. Just list the trips to the best of your knowledge, and explain that the dates may not be exact. They're not going to hassle you over it unless you completely leave out a trip that they know about, or you are close to breaking the continuous residence or physical presence requirements.

Thanks guys,

because of my dealings with USCIS in the past, I have become paranoidal :eek::eek:

Thanks for your support.
