In Which line should we stand while AOS is pending at POE ?

While entering into US at Port of Entry (POE), There will be different lines like Permanant Residents and Citizens OR Non-immigrants and Visitors etc., While AOS is pending we are either Non-immigrants nor Permanant Residents (AOS pending status).
So In which line should we stand ?

I myself would stand wherever there are fewer people, if it turns out to be a wrong one, they will always tell you. is this a serious question?
