In Trouble-Please help: Ginnu ji, real Canadian

I am the Primary. My Spouse's Birth Place on the Passport is different from the Birth Affidavit's and the I-485, G-325 submitted to USCIS. I am expecting an RFE?.
I tried to have it changed on the passport but the Indian Consulate say's they need a Court order and they are not providing any more details. I could not find a Format for the Court order any where. I wrote to all the Consulate's in USA. Please Advise. Appreciate your Help and Time.

-------------- do you mean your spouse birth place is Patna on his/her Passport and on Birth Affidavit's it is RANCHI and on I-485 wrote Ranchi and on G325A also Ranchi? if YES your spouse will get RFE. Birth place need to be same on all the douments, forms submited and same on passport

-----they are correct, get the court order from India get in touch with lawyer in India

talk to lawyer in India Your spouse may have to make affidavit before the magistrate in India and also may have to publish the change in newspaper then lawyer can get you civil order/ court order from a competent court of jurisdiction. then with court order one can change the Place of birth and you may have to apply for new Passport copy
