I am a USC and I'm in the process of filing a I-129 petition for my fiancée and i. he is in Nigeria. however we have NOT met within the last Two years. we have proof of our relationship. however due to circumstances of the country and its safety i can not travel there and this has caused hardship due to that and other things. I plan to write and explanation of WHY we haven't met. would the uscis accept this?? i dont think we need a lawyer to file? as long as we follow the directions and double check, will be fine?
