in Canada on Business visa and eligible for US H1B visa appointment?

Hi Guys,

Want to know whether any one had attended for H1B stamping in canada, working in canada on B1.

My close friend is in Canada on Business visa for 2 to 3 months, is he eligible to attend for US H1B visa in canada consulate? if so what are the documents required for getting his H1B.

He got his H1B from a consulting company in USA and he works for a different company in India.

Eligible

Technically he is eligible, but that is not to say the US Consulate won't hassle him because he is not applying in home country.
