Improper work experience date in LC

I got my Labour cleared (PERM). But the dates in the Labour showing my previous employer was wrong. The year was off by one year. Yest it was a typo. I dont like it and want to get it changed. But my employer says that we should go ahead with 140.

What should i do ? Thanks for reading!

If the labor is approved, and if you are still qualified for the Labor excluding the error. Then you can go-ahead with the I-140 by submitting a sworn statement to USCIS, saying that it was a typo but you are still qualifed for Labor.

Why unnecessarily loosing a priority date.

I agree with Robert. Also, the other thing you can do is manually cross out the date and put your initials next to the error when filing the I-140, which we have done in the past when a client indicated his wrong country of birth.
