Important questions(name check and 130)please help

I have 2 questions
1.Regarding I-130, mine is still pending though I had my interview on 05-23-06.

2.Name check:When does the USCIS starts the name check process?is it after FP, after interview, after filing the 130 or 485? this has been a puzzle for me.

1. Don't worry about it. The officer will approve your I-130 and I-485 at the same time. Certain districts have stopped approving I-130s before I485 because it's deemed useless if you are married to a USC.

2. Name check starts as soon as you take your FP. I have heard that recently, USCIS only calls people for interviews once name check has been cleared by FBI but this could be a rumor also.

2. This is not true. That is why you see a lot of people on this forum who have had their interviews successfully but have no approval as that is pending name check.
