I wanted to know ,if we use EAD to get social security number,will my Visa becomes invalid & do i have to use AP itself for travelling to India?...

actually my employer has applied for EAD only for my spouse , v hav a valid visa for a couple of yrs..so my spouse was thinking if she gets the EAD , can she get a SSN and travel to india without AP?

SSN is not requried to travel. You definitely need AP

for travel.

No. Visa does NOT beome invalid just by getting SSN

If you are maintaining H1 status then she is in valid H4 status and she can reenter in US by using H4 visa and showing I-485 receipt notice.
If you are not on H1 status or using EAD then she has to travel on AP even if she does NOT apply for SSN.
