Hi,
I got my physical GC by mail. What I noticed my thumb print on the GC is very light(you can barely see it). Is it ok ??? Is is going to cause any problem when I come back to US?

why should it be a problem? USCIS has issued it to you and they should accept their own documents!

I guess it's a major probem. They can deport you for fraud.

they can say you have altered card. but as long as you got from them don't worry. you can explain them that you have not altered it.

Take it easy.

Card is issued by USCIS and they make sure fingerprints are acceptable/readable (may be not through naked eye) before printing the card.

If you still have doubt, go to the nearest USCIS local office and explain your situation.
