first of all thank you for all of you who have deceided to read this and help me. I just received a notice to schedule my interview using the info pass in uscis.gov. my concern is can i be denied of a lost I-94 and original I-485 receipt of notice? (this is the notice that starts with " we have received your application..it is taking us 660 days to process...) I have copies though for both I-94 and I-485. I am so stressed, any advice is appreciated!

What does the letter say? Usually interview are not sceduled through the infopass. You will get a letter with date and time specified. Just check it might an approval notice.

Copies should be OK. You can file Duplicate I-94 using Form I-102. The form can be downloaded on the Web. Just give Police complaint. Keep a copy of that.
I-485 Receipt notice does not matter as long as you have copy just in case.

thanks tammy

now they schedule it via infopass ( in my case and 2 others) . my other friend told me that before, they put a particular date and time but now we have the option of selecting the date they want. tammy, thanks a lot. im so nervous my friend

-----If you lost I-94 be ready to provide affidavit that you entered US on date.. on H1 or H4 visa and your POE was XYZ . USCIS has copy of your I-94 in your I-485 file that you submitted to USCIS at the time of I-485 filing. as you have copy of I-94 I don’t see any problem. You don’t need original I-485 filing receipt at the time of Interview.

ginnu,

Is there any chance that they will ask for earlier I-94 (Not the recent one) ?
or they have in their records ?

Thanks

Usually all the I-94 during one visit will have same number. So most recent I-94 should do. But you need to have all H1 approvals.

Thanks

Are you sure tammy2, all I-94's having same number ?

Entered initially Mar 2001 on Company A valids until 2003 feb 28.

Extension to Company B denied, went to home country and Reentered on Sep 2003 on Compay B valids until 2006 jan 31.

So in this case, I do have same number for I-94 ?

Thanks a lot

Sure as I mentioned during one visit.
So you went out and reentered. In that case I-94 will not have the same number. You surrendered your old I-94 while exiting US. That I-94 will not be asked in the interview.

I recently got my I485 approved, and since then I have got my passport stamped. Here is what you need -
1. Your passport
2. I-94 from last entry to US.
3. Previous EADs and APs.
4. Original I-485 approval notice.

It seems you are only missing the 2nd item. I think you have 2 options -
Option 1 - File the form, which is mentioned in this thread, to get the duplicate I-94.
Option 2 - Try going to USCIS with the copy of your I-94. If that does not work then try option 1.

All the best.
