Impact on I-485 Process Time with Huge Eligibility Advancement

The May Visa Bulletin shows that the EB3 eligibility moved for more than a year. I am ready to file my I-485 (NSC) and checked with my attorney to see if it's reasonable to get approval within a year; he indicated that it will be much much longer now with the big jump....IS THIS TRUE?

Would Consular Processing allow me to get my GC faster? Appreciate your input.

No one really knows that! We are all in limbo. USCIS/DOL already passed the 2001 cut date for 245i. So I would not anticipate any further retrograssion, but that is all a wild guess.

The bulletin also says this

"The Employment Third Preference ?Other Worker? category is expected to reach the annual numerical limit during April. As a result, the category will become ?Unavailable? beginning in May and will remain so for the remainder of FY-2007. "
