Impact of Name Change on Marriage and 130 filing

I had my green card application (employment based) and I got residency in September 2004.

I recently got married to an H1B visa holder who is presently in the US. I would like to file the 130 petition for her.

My questions are about impact of name change:

1. Since the marriage certificate has her taking on my last name, do I have to wait to file the I 130 till the name change is registered on her Social Security number?

2. What are the implications of changing her last name with filing the I 130?

Iin this case, the I 485 will be filed later, so it is only the I 130 that I will be filing.

Also, taking a lawyer looks like a waste as the process seems doable. Any opinions on this?

Is that a must ?

I`ve been married for these last 4 years and half and on the marriage certificate my wife carries my last name but never really rent to the whole process of changing her last name on the social security card , is that a problem and now i`m awaiting adjustment of status .
