Impact of labor application on pending AOS, AP

I am the primary applicant for GC.
EAD approved for self, wife, kid.
AP pending
AOS pending

Wife is on H1B in 5th year. Employer has agreed to file PERM labor to enable H1B extension beyond 6th year.

QUESTION - would PERM labor app for my wife, mess up her pending AOS and AP applications?

Prefer to maintain H1B status until AOS (I-485) is approved.
 
It should not be a problem since she is a derivative on your application. There is nothing that precludes her from starting her own PERM. It is even good for a backup plan and also for extending her H1 beyond the six year limit.
