Hello,
My dad is supposed to have his medical exam next week, prior to a consulate interview for permanent residency. He is 70 years old, and has long since lost all records of immunizations in his childhood.

There is a lot of talk about "age appropriate" immunizations in the state website, but very few details on what that means for the elderly.

Will he have to retake all of those immunizations?

Of course. What will be, will be ;)

But I'm asking if there are any written guidelines somewhere I can read, or does anyone have their own experience to share.
My mom went through this process. She also did not have any vaccination records.

A simple blood test revealed which vaccines were not required (I forget which ones). The doctor follows CDC guidleines, you can read them on this link below. Only necessary and age appropriate vaccines are administered as part of the medical examination. Vaccines to be administered are determined by the doctor.
