Earlier when we went for medical, we were expecting our first child and hence could not complete the MMR. Now again we are expecting our second child and what happens if there is an RFE?
Has anybody been in this situation. Please advice. Thanks.
 
For the first part (i.e. first child) we were in similar situation and my wife couldn't complete MMR. We did not get an RFE and our 485 has been approved. So most probably you will not get an RFE.

I am in the same situation as yours and yet to get the approval. But its good to know that someone was in the situation and didn't get an RFE for MMR..

Had same situation. Not able to send complete medical initially. Later they ask for medical again and did medical without MMR.
At the time of interview they ask for the birthcertificates plus medical (2nd one).
CASE approved ;)

b2004, Can you plz clarify, initially, u couldn't complete MMR. So when they sent RFE for medical, again u sent without MMR? then after that there was an interview, by which time u completed MMR?
 
No. My daughter was 4months old and I did X-ray no MMR. Officer asked me for birth certificates for both kids as this shows change in status. She added those two documents with my file. She never asked me but I gave her 2nd medical with X-ray result NO MMR.
After having baby I went to the same doctor and he did X-ray and add comments on a same medical report they normally keep one copy with them. That saves you money.

Officer told me that the reason they send your file to local office is my incomplete medical and for that birth certificate will work. But if one is still pregnant, incomplete medical will work.
This is not a big deal so don't worry. If some one delivers before interview, I think its better to do what ever remaining one can do. No one asked me but i did X-ray to be on a safe side.
