Immigration visa stamping at buffalo

Hi All

I have received notice saying my application for permanent residence for canada
is complete and asked me send Original passports of myself and accompanying family members. The question I have is its been more than 25 days since I sent passports but haven't received them back. Normally how long this will take
and also is there anyway to contact buffalo office other then fax to find out
status.

Really appreciate If you can share any experiences you have in the past.

Don't worry. There are many people in this forum who got the passport in the fourth week. You will get yours within a week.

I am also waiting for my passport, I sended on 21st of march.

Back in early 2004 when I applied it took them a week to send it back, it might have changed now, unfortunately there is no way to contact them other than fax or requesting caipnotes unless you go through a lawyer who has inside contacts at the consulate. Also have you recently changed address? If so make sure the Estatus shows the right address.

Also make sure your passports are not expiring soon my lawyers had informed me the passports need to be valid for atleast a yr for them to stamp it.

One of my friend has received it in three weeks, but normally it takes three to four weeks, just have patience and you will surely receive it soon.

I got my passport stamp today
my timelines

AOR - MAY'04
IA - DEC'04
MED-JAN'05
PPR-MARCH'05
passport sended on march'21st
passport stamped on 1st april
I got on 6th april.
