ok.. lets find out who are the immig oscar winners this year

Categories for immigration oscar are:

a) who has the earliest Rd and still waiting w.o AD
b) who has the earliest RD and still waiting w.o any RFE.
c) who has the earliest PD
d) who came to US earliest and continously studying/working.

I am nominating myself for the "d" award with 93 Aug.

I may qualify under d.

I came to the US in Jan '92...as a student , working since '94... first PD was April. 96.., changed jobs in '97 and had to start GC process all over again... due to company regulations had to wait 6 months to start the process....

It has been a one hell of a wait... and still waiting for my GC !

PD: Feb. 17, 1998

RD: 09/19/01
ND: 11/15/01
FP : 02/28/02

EB2/ NJ

NO RFE

No Approval so far....:( :( :( :(
 
PD 5/20/2000

INS lost original I-140 file which itself took 9 months in transit to NVC.
Then applied for duplicate I-140 which took 8 months.

Now waiting for FP after 11 months....

BTW Deeejay999 i have similar history aug 93 started masters degree at US, started working my first rd at 1996 and changed jobs 1999. Applied at the end of 2000, part my stupidy, part other reasons

Also, how abt the oscar award winner writing a brief life journey so as to make it more meaningful.

Then atleast, INS might understand the plight of immigrants.
