Immigration official forgot to stamp Arrival date on Passport

Hi everyone,
I landed in the US on 17th of July after a 6 week vacation in India.This was my first time traveling after my GC.Later at home I found that the Arrival date has not been stamped on my Passport.IS this going to be any problem while I apply for citizenship?
If getting the stamp is mandatory,how do I go about it now.
Please offer any suggestions or share similar experiences.

Immigration officer would have scanned your GC/plastic card which would have recorded your entry into US.....

I think there is nothing to worry here..

BTW, check your passport thoroughly (all the pages), stamp might be hiding somewhere
 
I've entered the country about six times...and my passport has been stamped only four times....One time I asked...and the Officer said it was not necessary...
Keep exact dates of your travel for your records....
