Immigration Officer Called me and Card production Ordered

At 9.30 AM today, I received a telephone call on my cell phone from Immigration Officer at TSC. He asked me the following questions:

a. About my current job and what I do.
b. My name and parent's name , place and date of birth
c. My spouses's name and her parent's name , place and date of birth
d. About the place I live
e. He asked me what I did during the memorial day weekend. I tild him that I was in Texas...

And then he congratulated me and asked me to check status online.

I checked the online status and it says:

One June 11, we ordered....

Here's what I did:

a. June 07, 2007: Called TSC using POJ method and the rep told me that my security clearance was pending
b. June 08, 2007: Called Customer service and initiated a service request for me and my spouse

EB-3 (India) May 09, 2002
I-485 filed at TSC July 01, 2005
1st FP Code 3 done August 2005
2nd FP: Code 1 May 07, 2007
I-485 approved for self and spouse June 11, 2007

Hello,
Congrats on your Approval and enjoy the freedom.

I tried to initiate a service request. I was told, however, that since my FP-2 was done last month and that 60 days have to pass from any sort of activity on the case, a service request cannot be initiated and I will have to wait for the 60 days to pass. The officer on the line was very polite and courteous, though.

I hope and pray that I get my GC before doing all that. Talk about being optimistic :)

I did not talk with a TSC rep to initiate a service request. I called the National Customer Service and followed the prompts.

Just want to let you guys know:

Labor filed May 09, 2002
Labor Approved June 17, 2005
I-140/I-1485 filed July 01, 2005

I did not follow up with TSC or anyone ever since. I did call TSC in June 2006 because my 2nd AP was lost. I lodged complaint with FBI, USCIS, USPS and Senator that my mail containing immigration doc was lost. I got a replacement from the local office.

I did NOT follow with FBI or USCIS regarding namecheck, etc.

Hi mahap001,
When you created the service request they must have given you a reference number, did it ends with VSC? My case has been transferred to TSC but the reference number (Service request) ends with VSC, I do not know whether the specific ending means something but I asked the rep where will my service request be sent and I was told it will be to TSC.
Same thing happened to me. The reference number ended with VSC, which made me suspect that TSC wasn't going to be involved with the service request.

Then I got a letter about the service request. It came from VSC and it told me nothing more than what I already know; that my case was transferred to Texas in March. I figure VSC responded to the request with the limited information they had, and TSC didn't receive the service request at all.

service request- number ending VSC

Guys, if any of u remember, an applicant made an inquiry with his local congressman about transferred cases and the reply was something to the effect that ...... although cases have transferred, VSC still shows ownership of data or somesuch. It is becoming increasingly clear that until VSC lets go of that data nothing is gonna happen to tsc transferred cases, pray that the programmer responsible for transfer of ownersship is not as smart as a bag of rocks

god blessthe programmer....................and USA

I don't think they computerized the transfers. I think they are manually re-entering the transferred cases into the TSC system.
