Hi,
I have a question and need someone's help. I am on H1 and my stamp in passport is expired. My H-1 extension case is in-process right now.

I am planning to go to Hawaii. Do we need valid visa to re-enter?

thanks.

No immigration Check needed

Hawaii is considered domestic. So when you return from Hawaii you do not go through immigration. I kept my passport as a backup but I dont recall ever showing it when I visited last year.

im not a residence of usa, but license and my id is not expired, i want to go to hawai, do you think they gonna ask me for my resindence in the way back to miami???

No Visa or passport required

If you are flying direct to Hawaii , you will not need visa or passport, you will just need your DL. However if you are going on a cruise which covers Mexico , then you will need a passport to do so.I travelled last year by air and did not need one. But You have to go through customs in Hawaii , they check for any fruits and vegetables in your baggage.
Have a nice time and enjoy your trip.
