Immigrants tend not to buckle up

Do you observe that immigrants tend to ignore seat belts while
driving or riding? If you take a taxi in NYC, you often
see even drivers do not buckcle up and they are
apparently immigrants.

I heard many immigrants later adopted goiod habit of buckling up
and when they visit their home countries and bluckly up
in a taxi right after leaving airport, taxi driver often laugh at them
"You must be back from USA because you are stupid enough to
even use seat belts"

Immigrants from Europe may be different. In fact, compared with Europe,
American tend to use seat belt less.

I've actually found it to be the other way round - quite a few of my american friends are pretty lax about wearing their seatbelt. Immigrants on the other hand seem to be more "law-abiding". Maybe we're afraid of getting pulled over and having to explain that on our citizenship application

You seem to know an awful lot about immigrants. Do you know if they bathe, brush teeth, wash their clothes or use latex?
