Immediate AP help needed

Hi everyone,
I applied for AP two months ago,my travel date is less than 3 weeks.My case is pending with local ins office.
Does anyone have any idea how long it takes to process AP in local office?

Also pls post any suggestion u have.

Thanks for ur enquiry.I am yet to go to the local office(Columbus,ohio).Do u know anything abt emergency travel permit?

Take all the document with you and go to local INS office, make sure by calling INS that the local office could prepare the AP for you.
I went to local INS and got AP in three hours.

What is your local office and AP receipt date ? Did you state your condition as an Emergency ? If so could you reply the documents you took along with you to proove the same ? Thanks for your previous reply.

Just take copy of 485 recepts, passport and two immigration style photo. Download the I-131 travel document from INS website and complete it.
You may not be needed to pay again if you give AP receipt number.

No need to show any urgency and emergency to INS, just you need to say that you are going for personal reason.
Make sure to call INS to cheeck if your local INS office process the AP application. My local INS office is Baltimore,MD.
