I feel extremelly lucky and I can't believe it!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
I just applied last April. It has only been 4 months!!!
I got the receipt confirmation from Texas even though I sent my application to Nebraska. I don't know if it makes any difference or it is just luck..
Does anyone know what is "ADIT processing"?

WOW!
and i mean WOW, man! CONGRATULATIONS!!

to my knowledge this has been so far the fastest approval ever !!

Congratulations again and enjoy it!!:)

BTW what is your exact timeline? Are you AS6?

CONGRATULATION MAN FOR THIS KIND OF HAPPINESS. Can u pl give ur time line? Did u send ur medical form alongwith original application?
Congratulations again.

Thanks asylee27 and chang1428!! BTW I'm a girl :p
My family applied for asylum by the end of 2000. I had to go to immigration court and was granted asylum in April 2006. The receipt notice was sent on April 19, 2007. I sent the medicals together with the application. I got fingerprinted on May 15, 2007, and I heard nothing until today morning :D :D
My dad was the main applicant. Since we applied when I was still underage I got included in the application too. I guess that makes me a derivative? So far I'm the only one in my family that has gotten this email. We all applied at the same time, but my dad's and my application got sent to Texas while my mom's and sister stayed in Nebraska.

ve blur,
I appologize for my mistake. Thanks for the reply. I have similar situation. I had applied as principal applicant but my family was not included in the original form i-589 by my stupid attorney, however they were added to the application by the assylum officer at the time of asylum interview. My case got approved through court appeal petition after long battle.
My son was under 21 at time i had filed my application therefore he qualifies as derivative under CSPA. I filed his I-730 in Aug 2005, which is still pending.
He lives with me in USA but he has no work auth therefore can not get his job legally. He is maintaining his F-1 status by enrolling in MBA programme.
I do not know when his I-730 which is now outside processing time for a year will approve. My I-485 is pending too since Aug 2006.
Can u pl tell me if u got u derivative status through i-730 or it was granted by IJ alongwith ur Dad's application.
I will welcome any comments on my situation.
Thanks

Dear chang1428,

When we applied in 2000, me and my sister were included in the application. We were 17 years old at the time. When our court date came up, the attorney asked our lawyer to file new i-589 for me and my sister. He said we had to file on our own because we were no longer underage. However, we went to court as a family and we all were granted asylum together.

I hope your and your son's application get approved soon.

congratulations!

you had me beat as the fastest processing time:( ,but on the other hand your case is a little different as i was the principal applicant!

enjoy your GC.
