I'm nervous...what does this mean?

I just received my I485 case status update as the following. I'm so nervous coz I have no idea what it means. Is it asking for RFE or approval? My FP is scheduled next Monday (02/28). Thanks for your response!

On February 23, 2005, the document we made based on the approval or
registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued.

EB2 RIR TSC
LC PD: 11/2002
I140/I485 RD: 03/25/2004
I140 AD: 02/14/2005
FP scheduled: 02/28/2005
 
I don't think you can get approved without an FP

I do not think 485s can be approved without FPs.

It might be an RFE

It might be an RFE but 485 RFEs are usually straight forward and there should not be any reason to worry. You should be happy that they are working on your case.

Good luck, I am sure your approval is very near.

It could be approval... I remember somebody mentioning in the forum that 485 could be approved before FP. Just don't worry too much and wait.

I've already got my FP notice and scheduled for next Monday.

Thanks, harry_potter. I'll patiently wait and update everyone later. My attorney said it could be approval but wait and see.
 
It's FP notice

Hey luckytt,

Precisely, this is the exact same message I saw in my case too and it turned out to be FP notice. Apparently, the message is not quite right! It's not I485 approval. It happened with couple of my other friends too. So, don't worry! I have already passed through this confusion recently.
 
FP notice

Its a FP notice.Maybe they mailed a copy to your lawyer so the msg is for that.Dont worry abt it.
 
May be your Advance Parole / EAD approval. I don't think it will be I-485 approval without Finger print. Thanks
 
2 possibilities:

Maybe LUD for I485 must have been updated now regarding your FP notice.
I recd FP notice for the last 3 weeks, but I485 LUD has not changed as yet.

Maybe yr I485 has been approved. I know of somebody who had to go for FP after his approval.
 
Srika65, it's not my EAD or AP approval, coz it was approved last May, and I just submitted renewal EAD a week ago...actually, LUD on my EAD renewal changed too together with I485 case status change, although the EAD renewal case status still says 'received on...'

Anyway, my attorney thinks it is RFE, quoted here:
The USCIS message simply indicates that the information form for manufacturing your green card has been created, so that USCIS can make the green card as soon as your I-485 has been approved. We tend to see this message when an RFE has been issued on the I-485.

Anyway, I'll update everyone later. thanks, everybody.

My I-140 was approved on 24th Jan 2005. I had the approval message (that this case has been approved) but on Feb 14, 2005 The message on I140 chaged to exact the same messages what you have got on your I-485. I called the USCIS customer support and they told me that this could be a clerical mistake or something. And it is not an RFE, he told me that they donot send RFE on approved cases. My lawyer said the same thing and told me that this only means that they send the approval document.
So again USCIS does some weired things some time. Dont worry.Be happy.

I have exact same message for my AP. I dont know whats this means ? I am waiting to see what they send me.
