I'm having a bad day

Good habits should never be changed

Hi,

I have been waiting for almost two years and I know I will be waiting for a long time, I don't know but I just had a feeling I will.

It's up to you just to wait or to take action. If you just wait, it may be for a long period of time.
Did you read the previous message about my friend, the teacher who waited 13 (THIRTEEN!!!!) years for the Green Card?...and they claim they need techers desperately in this country

I teach in the public schools and in my class I do the allegiance of the flag every morning, most of my colleagues don't bother to do it. I do it because I want my young students to respect their flag and be proud of their country. Tell you the truth I don't feel like doing it anymore why bother when we get treated like second class citizens!!

First: You feel like a second class citizen because of the treatment of some incompetents from INS. They don't represent America and the American People! They are just a hand full of public servants paid with our tax money, incapable to perform their own duties.
I understand you frustration, I feel the same like you, but keep in mind, America never treated immigrants as second class citizens, and Americans, most of them immigrants or from families of immigrants, welcome newcomers.
Second: Don't give up this healthy and patriotic routine, is good that here and there are teachers who teach kids real values. Like you said there are not to many like you, your colleagues don't care, those are the bad apples, if you can't do anything to make them not to stink, at least don't get bad like them.
Third: Soon you'll recite the pledge of allegiance at your own Naturalization, just don't loose the faith and don't just wait for things to happen, make things happen, take action.
:)

cheer up

Pman
Cmon dude. Where is your army grit and resolute ? You are tough. Are you
going to let a bunch of slow moving beaurucrats ruin your life ? Who has
control over your emotions ? You do man!

Like others said, take a deep breath and take some time off. Go on a vacation
or do something totally unexpected that will take your mind off this. You
are very very close to your CZ. Wait a little more and you will make it! God bless you. Merry xmas

I am sorry for all you have been thru. However, I didn't understand why you made such a big deal out of this citizenship? Get on with your life. Go get some medical treatment or something.

You don't know why, July2006!!? he has been fighting for his RIGHT for 3 years!
He has served in the US military for 4 years!
He has put his life in jeopardy to serve this great country, and what he got in return, disrecognition, and that's so depressing!

He has no criminal records, yet the USCIS playing games with him!

Waiting and uncertainty is a lethal weapon, believe me , you can never feel what i am talking about fully till you live it!

Those reasons, are the obvious ones that i , an outsider to his crises, can see clearly. They are more than enough for him to make a big deal out of it, however, i am sure there are more reasons, and more feelings , that nobody else but publicus himself can feel, describe, and talk about.

Your comment is cold.
You didn't (and don't) understand, because you see things differenlty. If you got an one way ticket to Istambul next spring, definitely you don't care much about "this citizenship". For others, this is the dream of their life and this is why they "make such a big deal of it". People desire different things in life with different intensity. It's not our place to judge the others with different view points. If you can show a little bit of understanting and compassion, great, if not, just don't say anything.

Get some medical treatement or something?!!
for God's sake, i won't comment on that, just go ahead and read what you said yourself , and tell me, does that sound respectfull to an intelligent and thoughtful guy like publicus?!!

Publicus who is wasting his precious time and hard earned money to look up cases on Pacer, which he has to pay to access, and post almost everything for free for us to learn from ?

Please, reconsider, just reconsider what you said!

Thank you,

Sony

Blah blah blah... I never meant to be offensive but it looks like you guys are all a little bit too tense about this. What I was trying to say was he should get a life and go on with his life. Don't spend every minute thinkinh about it. Othrewise he'll be in depressionand need medical help which looked like he needs some. Anyways, if he is in the process of getting his citizenship, he must have a gc. So what's the deal? Nothing is stopping him. Things sometimes take a long time. Wait and see. Everything's gonna be alright.

Vulpasin, Rahul and Sony, thanks a lot for your kind words. :)

June2006, the reasons why I have been fighting so hard to complete the adjudication of my case are explained in an earlier message on this thread and in other messages around this forum, but there is also another simple reason to remember: Based on the many cases one reads and comes across, if CIS has a good reason to deny your naturalization application, they sure as well have a good reason to start deportation. I personally have a clean record, but still, you never know with CIS, especially with this name check thing. Mistakes happen, and since the burden is always on the applicant to prove their case, that adds up to the stress.

Once I told Manyung who was waiting for his citizenship for four years that I needed to finish my case before moving on to other things in my life. It is a choice I made. I had a gut feeling and acted on it. I always believe in sound preparation. In Florida and many of the islands of the Caribbean, when a Hurricane is developing, there are those who get ready for it by protecting their homes, doing the necessary steps to save their lives, and even moving to another area if required. Unfortunately there are those who instead of preparing, decide to have what is called: "A Hurricane Party", where they drink, dance, and have a good time like it is their last night on Earth. And amazingly for many of them it is their last night on Earth as they get killed by the Hurricane. It is a known fact, and Katrina proves my words. This is indeed a free country to a certain extent, it is up to you to belong to whatever group you like. The Hurricane Preparers, or the Hurricane Party people. I've made my choice a long time ago.

Thank you and Good luck. :)

Not to everybody, there are careless people who can't understand others worries.

And maybe when Anatolian Fault is acting up, there are people in that region who have an "earthquaqe party" and then cry for international help. No wonder they were a menace in Europe for centuries, and now western Europe is reluctant to admit them in the union.

This is indeed a free country to a certain extent, it is up to you to belong to whatever group you like. The Hurricane Preparers, or the Hurricane Party people. I've made my choice a long time ago.

Yes, but there are individuals who have to shove to your thorat their point of view.

Thank you and Good luck. :)

"I don't understand why you make such a big deal out of this....go get some medical treatment or something" :D :D

"Blah, blah, blah"....and more blah :D..."it looks like you are a little bit to tense about this"...

And finally, it looks like you have an attitude problem (just look to my answer using your own words) and will better if and when you use that one way ticket to take it with you and never bring it back; in case that you want to return, leave it there where it belongs.

To July2005,
I was never rude to you or anything, however, you replied, blah blah blah, very disrespectfull reply! Some people don't feel other's pain, which is fine, everyone has different situation, different level of pressure, and different strength of personality, therefore, If i couldn't feel with sombody's agony, I would maybe sympathize a little, or I would not comment at all! I would never call somebody, who is in serious crises, to go seek medical treatment. The guy is stressed out not crazy!

I am kind of glad of what vulpasin said to you, because maybe now you feel alittle with others pain:)

All that being said, Vulpasin, please, you are a good guy, don't degrade yourself by replying to unimportant messages. Vulpasin is better educated than that, and higher than that. That's what i know about you.

I have much respect for many many people on this forum, like Publicus, Vulpasin, Ocworker, JoeF and some more i couldn't think of.

Good luck to everybody!

:)

Thank you Sony :)
What really pissed me off, was that Publicus had to "justify himself" why he "dared" to have a bad day!?!
Plus, that "blah, blah, blah" I thing it was a combination of insolence and total disrespect for all of us; we didn't jump in "My N400 Processing time for Atlanta" thread to make fun of July2005 problems and anxiety for not having things going the way he/she wants! People have problems, we can understand that...but they have to understand that they are not the only ones with problems, and a little bit of respect and consideration for the others won't kill them ;)

Vulpasin and Sony, you two are great friends. Thank you guys. :)

Vulpasin, you said you've learned some stuff from my story on this thread. What was it? I am still waiting for your post like waiting for a blockbuster movie to come out. :D

I was hoping you forgot about that :o
Sorry, like Sony well said it, lately I'm wasting my energy in meaningless message exchanges.
I promise you one of this day, be patient, I know, this the slogan you hate the most lately, but since I'm not working for INS nor for FBI you should trust my word. :D
...if you don't like it, sue me :D
Anyway, in a few words: I wanted to underscore how from a personal story some people can draw a lot of important conclusion...I repeat, some people...because some others, you know, blah, blah... :D

I think I am going to file a 1447b petition for a hearing with Rahul Kumar tomorrow. :D Your 20 days has expired and you failed to post your answer. :D

Yeltsin :D I mean Vulpasin, when your ordeal is over with, are you going to come here and start telling people how USCIS employees are nice and professional because it took them more than 18 months to adjudicate your case. :D It's funny how some people change their perspective when USCIS bribe them with the naturalization certificate. :(

That's like a hardcore democrat cursing President Bush for sending her son to War, just to to turn around and vote for him when he brings her son back home. :D

In my opinion you have a much better chance for a fast resolution with me than you have with INS :p

Yeltsin :D I mean Vulpasin,

I don't want to put the russian comunity on my head, but I really didn't like that guy. And, in case you forgot, I'm not russian

Of course, I'll never forget my 15 years (and still counting) of bonding with INS. :D
