Allowed to volunteer work in the US? I know they are not allowed to work and get paid until EAD is received, but what is the situation if they want to volunteer - donate their time and whatever without getting paid? could they?

******
Another question - if I'm in the US (which i am) and I'm with a pending I730 (not allowed to work in the US) can I work remotely from lets say my home, online for a foreign company located outside the US? Can I do this?

I really need help with this. I am trying to find a way out of the situation I'm in

I believe you already got an answer to your first question.

As far as your second question is concerned, if the workers who make $$ in the US despite working for foreign companies were taxed by the govt. then you won't be able to work.
