IL finally received after a long wait !!!

Folks,
I am so happy....my IL arrived today for Oct 16 at 10.25 AM. Being one of those stuck for ever in that receipting backlog of July 07 and finally clearing my name check after such a long wait .... i am very relieved. I have been reading all comments on this forum since a long time and belong to the class of hall of fame forum members such as BobSmyth,Vorpal etc.

Got a month to prepare my docs for the interview and with a morning time interview i hope i can get same day oath out here in Atlanta.

Need your prayers and best wishes, i will be hoping the best for all of you as well.
 
Congrats atlanta2008. Countdown have begun. I am very happy 4 you. Since your interview is before 12 noon, I am pretty sure you will walk out with your natz certificate in your hands on 10/16/2008.

Congrats and Good luck. I think you will be able to vote in 2008 elections.

I don't want to spoil it for OP, but last day to register to vote in most states is week of October 10th. Considering that OP's IV is after that date, there's no chance to vote for elections this year.
 
Thanks for the wishes , Folks. Yes i just checked and it seems Oct 6 is the registration deadline for voting in GA. No big deal really, i can wait another 4 years although it would have been cool to be able to vote in these elections.
 
Congrats Atlanta. I'm that day too! I'm in Illinois and will be too late to vote too. I won't complain though. Sorry yours took so long. Mine has flown by - so far
