IIO issued FP Notice over the phone...

Talked to IIO:

Me: "My wife and I haven\'t received FP notices for our I485 application".
IIO: "Oh! You haven\'t received the FP notice?".
IIO: Then went to I485 screen and said: "Let me issue your FP Notices
     via computer."

She took a good ten minutes for entering the information (WAC#, A#,
Name, Address etc.) on the computer screen and double checked it with
me. (She was refering to some other screen to get the info.) She then did
the same for my wife.

Me: Thanks! "Does it mean that you have issued FP notices for me and
    my wife? Can we expect to get it in a few days?"

IIO: "I don\'t know. I can only send in a request. I don\'t know how
     long it takes for the Computer to process and send it to you..."

(This confused me. On one hand she said "let me issue your FP notice
via computer", on the other hand she says she didn\'t know how long it
would take for the computer to process it ???)

Has anyone else had the same experience? Did she issue me the FP notice?
Or does it mean that she has made this request (via computer) to some
officer and it is up to the officer to issue the FP notices?

Can we expect it in mail soon? Any constructive input will be appreciated.

I had the same experience too and IIO said that she has just sent the FP request to the *system* and that she does not know when will the *system* actually issues the notice.

It has been more than two weeks since then and nothing yet...
 
Same thing was happend in my wife\'s case..

I had talked to IIO last week.. she issued a request to FP dept over the system. But don\'t know when do we get the actual papers..

Can anyone do this, or do you have to wait
for some period of time before the IIO will submit
the request for you.

Thanks guys! I guess I just have to wait for a couple of weeks
to find out whether she really issued my FP Notice.

If any of you gets his/her FP notice, please post it on this forum.
