IIO confirmed - April\'00 Cases are being processed now

I just called VSC ( 12:23pm). IIO confirmed that they are processing April\'00 cases now. Since my ND falls in 7/00, she said it might take 3 months from now to process my appl. I asked her why AVM msg says \'case number not found\' when check my case status. She said they have some problem but, that should not be a cause to worry at all. She verified my case and confirmed my FP from FBI are good. She also verified FP status for my Spouse and said fine. This is my first call to INS after I started my GC processing.

Nick, I received FP notices for both of us from my attorney on the same day. I did not get any copy from INS. I assume that my attorney must have received them on the same day. Not sure whether they were bundled together. Our FP was scheduled on the same date. Hope this helps.Wish you good luck.
