This is just for the information.

My second EAD got approved today according to online status. ND 9/24/03 and AD 11/03/03.

It doesn't make any difference to me as I still work on my H1.

Regards,

A question I am also on H1 but my EAD was upto Nov 10 and I applied only few days back. Do I need to do something If I dont get approvale by Nov 10. Thnaks.

Hi honeyhappy,

As long as you have not used your EAD and continue to work on your valid (un-expired ) H1, there is no cause for concern, you are fine. This is what my attorney told me.

In both our cases EAD is plan 'B'.

Good Luck !

I also have my H1B valid till march'05 and also got 1st EAD.
This Time I am thinking to get it issued in Dec'04.

What is plan B sachdev?
Thanks

Hi Bakra,

Your plan 'A' is your H1 and as a stand by you have approved EAD which generally is called plan 'B'.

Hope you got it.

Good Luck !

I got my approved II EAD card today i.e. 11/08/03. It is renewed from the next day of current EAD expiration date.

This is for your info.

Dates on EAD

Sachdev, My question about EAD is, as you can see on the post in this thread that Bakra has mentioned that He wants now EAD from some other date than the date First EAD is going to expire, Is that Posiible that If You apply late You get from that date not from the one date previous is expired (I doubt?). Any comments or experience is appereciated

Hi honeyhappy,

Logically, if you apply for EAD after the existing EAD expires, it can no loger can be called renewal. As far as I know it will be a new application and validated from the date of approval and not from the day after the existing EAD expires.

It is only my understanding and may not be true.

Regards,

"II" is not a substitute for "second." Just so you don't make a third mistake. If you're going to use "II," it should follow "EAD," as in "EAD II."

esseyeb,

Thanks for the correction. As long as message is convayed, I am ok with it.
