I just called an II (Thomas). He told me my case is pending. I asked him what it means and how it is different from HOLD ?. He told me it was previously on hold and somebody changed the status after receiving the amended I-140. He also told me that the new amended I-140 is already linked. When I asked about how long it takes to get the approval he told me 4-6 weeks.

    This piece of information is very useful one. It again confirms that automatically I-140 and I-485 are linked and also \'Hold\' is removed. Thanks for sharing this information with us. Hope to see yours and all of ours approved soon.

IGTE Folks! It may be a good idea to...

Call the INS center and make sure that your I-485
and amended I-140, if filed, are "linked"!.. Though
the link may happen automatically, calling and asking
an IIO to do that could be faster... than waiting
indefinitely!

Did u received receipt for your Amended I-140 application. and How much time it took to reach approval from the data of submitting amended application.

Did u receive RFE ? if yes what did they ask to submit.
