IGTE Company Name Chane: HOLDS REMOVED!!!

HI Guys,
Just spoke to an IIO at VSC. The lady informed me that my I-485 application is no longer on hold. She also informed me that my amended I-140, I-485 petitions are "to-gether" (I had called in last week to link my I-140 and I-485 petitions). She also said that "no decision has been reached" on my case, and that "there is no definite timeframe by which the decision would be taken". I guess I hear something positive going into the long week-end!!!

But she refused to talk to me about what I actually wanted to know - whether everything is ok with my amended I-140 petition or not (because I still haven\'t received a receipt notice for the I-140). Her contention is that since IGTE is the petitioner, she cannot discuss the case with me, even though I am the beneficiary of the case!!!

Guys, I beleive the first piece of information is significant - if holds are being removed from IGTE I-1485 applications, we should start seeing a lot of approvals soon. Hold on guys, we will get there!!!

Best of Luck Shahensha! Initially I thought VSC removed hold from all IGATE cases. Hope we will all see our approvals soon. Thanks for the post

Is that true for all IGATE employees? Did you ask her anything about INS coming up with a regulation? If not why did they remove the hold?
I really hope what you say is correct and we see some results soon

I did not ask about all IGTE employees. This was specific to my case. But I am sure this would be true for other IGTE employess as well...because most of them would have their amended I-140\'s filed by now.

I did not ask whether any new regulations were received.

I too hope we see some results soon!! Its high time VSC started looking at IGTE cases.....
