November, thanks for sharing the info. This is a great news. It looks like from the ND of our amended I-140 we should get our approval within the 2/3 months time frame. Wish you good luck. Please come back post by this evening that you did receive your courtesy copy of your approval notice. Good luck to you.

Did IGATE recieve your Approval letter. Some time ago some folks posted ids for which igate received the approval letters. Is your name in that list? Here is the list:

RD is when they got it in their mail room... my amended I-140 was sent to VSC on 4/17 and RD = 4/18

Just spoke to IIO about my case. First of all the lady refused my question on amended 140 saying it is company\'s petition and they will not talk to me. They say my case is not on HOLD. But may not be processed for another 2 to 3 months because of backlog of cases. Very depressing. My PD 4/97, 485 RD 8/99 ND 9/99, No RFE, Amended I140 RD 4/11/1, ND 4/18/1. I have amended 140 receipt but not approved yet.

Don\'t worry. I remember when I called VSC back in July 2000 to enquire about my FP, the IIO told me to wait for 2 more months to get my FP. You won\'t believe, my wife called me at 3:50 p.m on the same day and told me that she received our FP notice via Fed Ex. What this tells me nothing but you are too close in getting your approval. Cheer Up!!!!

whatthehell, I think IIOs answer depends on so many things - their mood, time available, how well they check our case, etc. Luck plays a role.

Any update on amended I-140 filed during the first week of May? As per our EOM, still there is no receipt notices for such
cases. It may be due to the mail room mess at VSC. Hope the cases filed in May 1st week, will have a notice date of
first week of June. Did any one called IIO to see whether their case is entered in their system.
