If you received excess money back on fees from INS, post here

When the INS fees were revised lower, I sent in the original higher amount. However, I have not received any refund back from INS.

If anyone has received a refund check from INS, please post here.
 
I haven't received my excess payment

My receipt date is January 24th for EAD.Should I get the excess amount? I think we should send a letter requesting the excess amount to CSC.
 
Guys be realistic, comon we live with a system that is totally screwed and you expect refunds, and waste time on this issue the difference is 120 - 88 = 32 for EAD and 110 - 80 = 30 for AP.

Instead if INS or BCIS spends the same amount of time to approve our applications instead of refunds we may be better off by not applying renewals of these EAD or AP's again and save a lot of effort, time money and above all gives us some peace of mind.

RM makes sense. I would assume INS will either take all the money without refund or simply return the check with whole application. This is same as you go to consulate for visa interview. They don't have no change for application fee. Some will take all your money and say hey we don't give change. Some will kick you out and say hey get change and come back.

So you should be knowing how expensive it is to please her (J Lo).
