Sent first fax enquiry on Jul 2 by myself and no response yet...

Any body in the same boat ? Please post your details and experiences.

Its more than 6 mos i have still not received FP

My lawyer launched an enquiry about a month back but still havent heard back from them as yet.

Second inquiry launched by my attorney...

today (July 15 2002) .She told me that if we still dont hear back from there in about 15 days then we will
"send a problem case inquiry to the Liaison for the California Service Center"


I will keep everyone updated as to how it goes.
 
Send the enquiry yourself....

My attorney also turned down the request for enquiry and was told by an IIO to send the enquiry by myself...

Spoke to IIO on 3rd August and was told that this case would take another two months for EAD!!!
I guess if I need it I can get an interim EAD?
Regarding FP do I wait or should I touch base with my atta send fax/query etc?

I am alsoin the same boat waiting for FP. My Attorney has sent an first fax and waiting for reply. I Called IIO but no useful info why it is not been sent.

how do u fax an inquiry?

what is the number to fax the inquiry?

what are the details that we should include in the fax inquiry?

is there a format of things that we should include?

Even my attorney said that he would not fax one before it is 180 days past the 485 filing.

my 485 was filed in April ( WAC- 02- 169) No word abt the EAD and also the FP notice.

I know a lot of my friends fiiled in May 2002 and who got their FP done already.

Regarding faxes

1. Faxes can be sent as early as 120 days after filing (the 180 day rule was recently changed).

2. Faxes should ideally be done by the lawyer.

3. Knowing format of fax and/or number to fax should be your attorney's headache, not yours.

4. 2nd fax follows the 1st fax after 10 days, and 3rd fax follows the 2nd fax after 15.

My attorney faxed the 3rd fax for me this week. Most likely 3rd fax gets you the FP notice -- but you never know.. more faxes might be needed.

Hi guys ,
I didn't recieve fp notice yet talked with IIO , the lady told me that they are processing august 2001 fp right now, so i have to wait another one month.
I think this might be useful for you guys

My RD/ND is Jan 2 and Jan 7 I also have not received FP notice.
My attorney has faxed three times already, the last one to Division I at CSC. This was a week ago. No reponse yet.

I don't know if this is abnormally late or what. Anybody else have any input on this?

vaishalid101, Your case is way over due for FP. May be the IIO would have confused with AOS filing date and FP date.

Call again and you may get a better IIO to give proper suggestion. I found some other discussions about faxing for FP delay from Arun Mehta, Siphra etal.

Got my FP Notice today...

RD : Feb 15, 2002
ND : Feb 28, 2002.

Recd FP notice today only for self (not my wife) and scheduled for 9/10.

I presume my fax enquiries helped in securing this.
1st enquiry sent on : Jul 2nd.
2nd enquiry : Jul 25.

My attorney is a big idiot and she refused to make fax enquiries. I decided to make the enquiries myself and went ahead with it.

Will wait for few days to see if I get notice for my wife or else check with the attorney.

fp notice

did your avm change......did it say that they send you a notice for finger printing or it's the same 999 days so and so...I'm just curious cause till now i haven't receive my notice for fp....my ND is feb 25 '02 wac 02-119-54xxx
 
So did you fax inquiries without your lawyer's signature?
What form of inquiry did you use?
 
Got FP notice after 2nd fax inquiry

1+ 1/2 week after sending 2nd fp inquiry, I received fp notice yesterday. It seems the fax inquiry did some work.
My I-485 ND: 1/23/02. It take about 7 months plus 2 inquiries to receive fp notice.
 
how to make fax inquires?

anybody can tell me the fax number for the inquires (for CSC)?

also, is there any form for this type of inqueries?
