If u r travelling by Malaysian/Singapore on AP/EAD
Hi,
If u r travelling by Malaysian/Singapore on AP/EAD, do you need transit visa in Kulalumpur ?. My husband is going by Malaysian.

Also, do you require transit visa in Singapore?. I am going by Singapore.

Anyone who has travelled, please let me know your thoughts.

For sure you DO NOT require a visa in Singapore Airlines. SA have a service wherein they give a free tour of Singapore by bus to all transitting passengers. You will need to get a transit visa for that (IFF you want to get outside Changi Airport) and that can be obtained for FREE at the airport upon showing your passport and departure ticket.

I have never travelled in Malaysian Airlines and can't tell you about visa reqs.
 
I travelled via Malaysia on AP and yes they do give you a transit Visa. You just show your AP documents if they ask you. Its not complicated at all. And this was last december.
 
I just traveled back from India via Singapore and Seoul (South Korea) on Singapore Airlines. I didn't need a transit visa for either stop.
