Well my interview is next week and I've spent 900 days outside the US in the last 5 years (as a student) so follow my posts to get an idea of what to expect.
Well it seems that a lot of IO's are more lenient towards people who are students abroad and those taking care of sick relatives then they are with people who move abroad and live and work over there.
But yeah, all going to be IO dependent and hopefully it all works out for you...
