if it passes, then it will make more BG check backlog for FBI. This keeps getting better and better everyday

I may have an incomplete conclusion (2 cent). Whats your opinion.?

I don't think that bill is going to pass & if the senate wants to do any thing they should be doing something for all us LEGAL immigrants waiting to get their Citizenship / Green Card etc.

Sec. 216 of the current bill does say some thing like

"DHS will set up an interagency task force to work on resolving cases that have been delayed more than two years due to background checks. Funds are authorized as necessary to handle background checks. The FBI must prepare a report for Congress on background check delays within 180 days of enactment of the law."

This is not the actual language of the bill, just a summary.

I am pretty sure the bill will pass. The cloture vote today clearly showed that the bill will pass.

If it does pass then we are all DOOMED!!. It's time the fed's did something for us legal immigrants. The FBI sucks and so does USCIS.

Congratulations!! You are already complaining of new immigrants.

I take back my words! The bill failed and no new attempts will be made until after the presedential election.
