I have been to the US earlier on an immigrant visa. First on H4 and then subsequently got my Green card.
But we have since returned back to India and its been 4 years since. The Green card is no longer valid.
I have now applied for a B1 visa via the company I am working for since I need to travel to the US on business.
During the interview the officer did not ask my any questions about the Green card status, etc. Probably she did not notice it too.
She accepted my application.
Is it now guaranteed that I will definitely get the visa ? Or is it still possible that she can reject it ?
