If I have two I-140 approvals, can I persue both I-485 & CP

If I have two I-140 approvals one through NIW & second one from RIR, can I pursue I-485 with one I-140 and CP with the other approved I140.

No, You can not have AOS and CP at the same time. This is clearly stated in INS rule referred by my

U definetly can pursue with two 140 approvals use one for CP & the other one for AOS.Use the CP option for the current employer.

I am in the same situation. One OR-140 approved for AOS, FP scheduled for 2/26, and the second I140 (EA) approved for CP (just recd packet 3). My lawyer (who is so-so) says I can do both, my company lawyer (who is really good) says getting a second A# is considered fraudulent. Any opinions.

I am not sure because personally, I think this is very risky. Probably you want to check with the "Murthy chats". I remember she said it was ok but she didn\'t explain it in details.

But some filers from this discussion board said that it was not true. There has been one who actually filed 2 I485 (I forgot his/her nickname). Hopefully, he/she can update his/her cases for us.
