If GC approved while you travel on AP out side country

I'm not a guru but the answer is you will get detained inspection on Port of Entry. Seacrh forum, it was discussed already.
 
I am facing similar situation but am travelling on H1B.
Lawyer says that GC Approval is not valid till it is stamped on passport.

I got Approved when I used AP to travel, it doesn't matter, just use AP to get back. Nothing will happen to you. Since you have AP, you can go outside and come back.

looks like there is no big problem if you travel on AP and GC gets approved while you are out of the country .. But any more to make more clear this issue...
 
I maybe in a similar situation in a few months and asked my company's General Counsel (hoping that GC will be approved in the next few months) and she basically said...its not going to be a problem if GC is approved while out of the country, she advised me to return within a month though. AP will be used while entering the country.
