You should also ask if FP quality is good.
Several people asked this and found it was not good
and IIO generated a FP redo notice for them.
The INS will eventually generate a REDO notice for you,
but it may save you some time to ask if the FP quality
is good.

FP quality might be good but the FBI investigative report is another thing that FBI uploads automatically to INS database. I did my FP on July 19th 2001, ND 03/01. I was told by IIO many times that fP quality is good but the investigative report is the main information that\'s needed for the case to be assigned to the officer.
You earlier post about case getting assigned to the officer and waiting for FP report didn\'t made sense what IIO had told you. Perhaps another reason now-a-days is the cases are getting assigned to the officer before getting the report i guess and as soon as the investigative report is uploaded by FBI, the cases are then looked by the assigned officer\'s..

Theory
1. Your case got assigned when your FP-Scheduled date is coming close.
2. Before that, your FP status won\'t be checked.
3. FBI acknoledged your FP once to INS.
4. However, the result of our background check will be sent to INS in batches, periodically. Before INS receives that your case has to be pending.

My concern with that is...
That it does not make sense for the case to be allotted to an officer when there is no telling when the investigative report from the FBI will come in for that case. There have been many cases where the report has not been available for folks even a few months after doing FP. Look at your own case, Mohammed. Maybe the officer gets a case and sets some process in motion that makes that report available and gets attached to the case.
There may be a difference in sequence of processing for folks whose FP notice was generated by the new FP scheduling system(after 10/01/01). That may explain the anomalies noticed in the last month or so as compared with earlier theories/observations.
