if additional documents needed after interview

For all DV2007 winners who did CP process,

Me and my wife will have our interview on October 1st in Japan. We are wondering if IO requests additional documents or missing documents needed, will we be given chance to turn in the document after interview? If "Yes", is there any time limit to turn in the documents?

My wife read from somewhere (other website or something) said "Your CN only valid within the month your CN is current", so if additional document is needed during the interview, you have only till the end of that month to turn in. Does anyone have idea if this is true? I asked this question because it will be very difficult for us to get any additional document once we left US to Japan. I thought the only deadline for DV is "All DV Visa can only be issue before the end of September 30th 2008".

Any input will be appriciate.

The consular office will tell you when to get the documents if there's any need for it. Your CN is not only valid for the month its current.
 
I'm a little confused reading you post. Your wrote Me and my wife will have our interview on October 1st in Japan. I thought if the interview is not till Sep. 30 2007 no visa will be issued because new lottery start Oct. 1 :confused:

Don't get yourself confused!
If he said 1st October, then he is talking about DV 08
 
Thanks for the inputs and sorry about the confusion. Yes, me and my wife are DV 2008 winners, our CN is AS10XX. My post is asking for some inputs from DV 2007 winners who experienced the situation that they needed to turn in additional or missing documents. Once again, soooooorry for the confusion. :-)
