If a person doesn't reply to RFE on time what will happen?

Say In case a person doesn't reply to RFE promptly due to lack of documents like Pay Stubs etc, will his/her case denied automatically?

Has any one heard such cases?

The case will be considered abandoned

You'll have to re-apply.... best thing is send them whatever you have. If they deny your case based on insufficient evidence, there might be ways to pay $1000.00 and get it approved.
